Playing Beautiful Music

Most of us have seen or heard about duct tape tuxedos and wallets but an artist in Selinsgrove, PA has decided that duct tape is good for the music world as well. Selinsgrove asked local artists to decorated pianos for placement around their town. See the news story here.

Many of the artists painted old pianos but MaryJo Tabaras decided duct tape could be used to beautify her project. Her work on the piano is here.

That looks like it would be a lot of fun to play.

Using duct tape to create art and crafts has become a popular summer camp project and this summer Tapeworks has donated rolls of duct tape to Northeast Ministry of Bethlehem, PA. The kids attending the day camp will make all sorts of crafts.

Check back to see what the kids have made with the tape.
